Well, hello there!  I'm so excited you'll be joining our 5P family this year.  This is my third year as a fifth grade teacher here at McWayne, and I'm VERY happy to be sharing it with all of you!

I from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Education in May 2004.  My endorsements are in Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.  After spending the last two years here on the fifth grade team, I've realized just how lucky we are to have such an amazing school.  Grace McWayne feels like home, and I am thrilled to be back again this year.


TO MY FABULOUS STUDENTS:
th grade is an exciting year.  Being the oldest in the gives you the opportunity to set examples for everyone.  This year, you'll have the chance to create new adventure , go back in to study how our country began, conduct awesome science ,  and even run a small business (selling ) to make money for a donation to charity.  I can't wait to share the excitement with you!

When I'm not at , some of my favorite things to do are:  snuggle up with a good , make s'mores over a warm , hike through the at Starved Rock, go riding, travel to the , and spend time with my .  I bet you and I have at least one thing in common!
