September 8 , 2008 :
Welcome Back! Orchestra Handbook/Website Assignment Contracts were due September 2, 2008.
1. We'd like to welcome Mrs. Regina Kazda to the orchestra program! She will be teaching 6th grade orchestra rehearsals and lessons. Mrs. Feuerborn will continue to teach some 6th grade lessons.
2. Batavia Youth String Ensemble (BYSE) Auditions HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO Wednesday, September 10th. Audition music is available in the orchestra room. Please sign-up on the orchestra room door for a time. Please click on link below for more information.
3. IMEA Auditions for students who want an extra hard challenge and to participate with the Festival Orchestra will be at Still Middle School in Naperville on Thursday, October 2nd. This music should be learned with your private teacher. Music was handed out last school year. The Particpation Permission slip and $2 fee was due Friday, September 5th.
4. Students need to bring their instrument and binder to school for orchestra. They also need to attend weekly lessons during their assigned times - please hang a schedule on your refrigerator at home.
5. Click on the Music Buffs link below to mail in your membership dues! Or....turn in the $25 to Mrs. Feuerborn and I'll turn it in for you!
