John Heath has been the Director of Bands at Batavia High School since 1990. At Batavia, John overseas the wind and percussion programs, jazz program and the Bulldog Marching Band. Prior to his appointment at Batavia he was the Director of Bands at Highland High School in Highland, Illinois. In 2006, he was elected president elect of the Illinois Music Educators Association, a division of the National Association of Music Education.
