My professional bio:

Ben teaches instrumental music at Batavia High School in Batavia, IL and oversees the Midwest Percussion Educators Symposium held annually in the Chicago area. He holds a masters and bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. He also studied politics and theology at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Ben is a program consultant for the Senators Drum and Bugle Corps from the United Kingdom. He spent four years in the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps as well as a year on their percussion staff. Ben is an Innovative Percussion educator and is on the research and design team for Evans drumheads. His professional affiliations include, MENC, NBA, PAS, IAJE, and IAME.
