WELCOME TO THE COUNSELORS' CORNER

General Information

Your child's counselor has been busy meeting every student in his/her grade level.  Your student will meet the counselor with four or five other students from the same team.  This annual meeting gives the counselor and student time to get to know each other, discuss involvement in school activities, and set academic goals for the year.  Because your child has the same counselor for all three years in middle school, these annual appointments are important in facilitating problem solving for your child and helping him/her to advocate for him/herself.The counselor grade assignments are as follows:

6th Grade – Julie Neece (julie.neece@bps101.net)

7th Grade – Susan Arch (susan.arch@bps101.net)

8th Grade – Julie Webb (julie.webb@bps101.net)

Again, the counselor with whom your child starts in sixth grade remains his/her counselor throughout middle school.  If you would like to talk with your student's counselor, you may call the Student Services office at 879-4628.
